The Blog for ENGL 219. Its postings are intended to venture into the underlying mythologies of the American Experience and Psyche. As the infamous Hunter Thompson proded at the underbelly of the beast, we hope to go the same. Perhaps in rousing it, we may studying and learn something from this bizare "Electric Snake"
I wrote this story shortly after my arrival in Detroit. I thought it may be interesting in terms of the mythology of America from the viewpoint of a Canadian and a landed resident.
